I drive to Columbus 4 times a year for work. Might could work out a TW express, but I just got back....so it'll be like 2-3 months before I go again.

Southern Gun and Pawn in Gainesville. I think they were $10 last time I went in, or maybe it was $15. I remember it being $10 cheaper than the next closest (in price) place.

Possibly a strange question, but does anyone have any tips or suggestions on searching sale listings (private or dealers) for specific color vehicles?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

When I was trying to track down a Lunar Rock '23 I used https://exploresetoyota.com/

It's the distributor website for the south east region and through inventory you can search by model/zip to see what's available and what's doing down the pipe. It gives you the option to contact a local dealer about it too but if you google the vin it will usually lead you to the dealer that has the allocation.

As far as transfer fees go, youd do well by being familiar with the shop. If you shop there theyd probably reduce the fee. TruPrep had a great fee years ago, but the amount of people whod use them only for that service took up a lot of time and so they raised their prices. Not sure what it is now honestly, but I will say they seem to be stand up people. Deer Creak pawn, I think moved a good number of years back but may be worth checking out on transfer fees.

Thanks I’ll keep that in the memory bank. This potential purchase would be for a used vehicle.

Welcome! Good ppl in this thread.

Hells ya homie! Looks like I need to activate a long dormant FB account simply for marketplace. My old places to find good buys are long gone.

It’ll take the right deal to make me move from the taco. But I’ve been leaning more that direction lately than ever before. Wish Toyota would put some A/C vents in the back of these dern things. That would make a world of difference.

Lol. When I was shopping the salesman showed me how he could grab the handle and unlock it. It was push to start. Told him I honestly preferred not having either but whatever. He didnt feel too defeated. Then we got in and I asked about vents in the back. Thats when he got a sad look lol.
