Yea man. I don't remember if there was a break special going on at pep boys or what to get the discounted price. I'm sure you can do some looking on line. heck they may even let you bring you own parts.

With other stuff, I just call before and say, "Well, ____ said they could do it for $(this price)" and they usually match it. If not, it's only $20 more than Just Brakes. I am gonna see if they'll let me watch, so I can try and do it myself next time...probably not though

Bring it up to Covington/Conyers and we can do it! Got air, a lift, and all the tools!

P.S. My brother in law used to work for Just Brakes lol. With that being said though, I'm sure he'd come help if we got stuck bc I know he's done them before on a tacoma.

not a bad idea either. I wonder how much can be saved by doing it yourself. I can do lifts and most other things with trucks, but I've never fooled with brakes. Only problem is that I'm also gonna probably need my front brakes turned and I think it requires a special tool or something :notsure:

Once we get them off we can run them down the road to my buddy's dad's shop and he'll turn them for pretty cheap.

I think mine need turned anyways too. Brakes are super easy though. Bro in law did say the fronts on these can be a PITA, but I'd MUCH rather do it than take it to a shop.

Yep. I do as much as I can on any of my vehicles. Anything you don't need a special tool or machine to do anyways.

No doubt man. And I meant to put a "should" turn them for cheap disclaimer in there. I'm gonna give him a call here in a minute and ask.

My only labor charges are beer

    Absolutely!

If you wanted to do it any earlier I'll be free tonight then maybe Saturday of next weekend, and after that not till after the 10th (formula drift). Weeknights are *usually* no good for me.

Also, it's $20 a piece if we take just the rotors up there. I'm not really sure if that beats anywhere else's price or not. :notsure:

factoring in labor (Bud Light?), I think our drunken DIY will be much cheaper, if I'm able to. I probably won't be able to get around to it until after next week, but it's also not something that needs to be done immediately, anyway

I'm not picky lol so whatever you prefer!

Sounds good though! If we're gonna use the lift it's at my old man's shop in Social Circle, or we can do it at my bro.'s and have him there to give us the down low on these things! You just let me know when you wanna try and knock these babies out!

White 98-00 extra cab TRD prerunner w/ black wheels and a roof rack. Small lift, BFG all-terrains, dual exhaust.

Up at the Cumberland Mall Men's Wearhouse in Marietta, Ga. Anyone here or anyone recognize it? Was really sharp looking. I tried to take a pic but was on the phone and couldn't.
