Its a 2008 speedway blue double cab prerunner. I havnt done anything to it accept a grillcraft grill with a FJ TOYOTA emblem. Im still trying to decide how much I want to lift and what size wheels and tires. I dont take it offroad very often just around Statesborro at my girls parents.

there are some forest service roads about an hour and a half north of atlanta, decent stuff up there for the area, but that is the $1,000,000 question. there are quie a few of us searching for some decent off road spots. Welcome, where abouts in atlanta do you live?

So I just talked to my dad and he said we were invited to go fishing offshore in FL. and that we would get BACK on the day of the meet. Would anyone object to moving it a week back or a week before?

I know we will be back but theres no telling what time and how tired I will be after the trip.

Its up to yal tho, if yal wanna keep the current date I'll just do what I can and try to make it

Virginia Highlands area. I'd like to find a forest where I could camp, but have a little fun while driving in to the spot. One of my best friends is a Park Ranger in FL. Prior to that, his father was a Park Ranger also. Needless to say, I've lived a spoiled life of being able to drive and camp anywhere I wanted on public land since we always had keys to gates, etc......

yeah, but most of the people on this blog live closer to stone mountain than macon. I make the drive from atl to warner robins almost every weekendand that is only an hour 1/2. no matter what we choose, its not going to please everyone. But atleast we can please the majority

not to mention, macon is a DUMP. Anywhere else would be ALOT more pleasing to the eye than that place. Lets pick a place where EVERYONE will enjoy going. Maybe somewhere with scenery, with some room to ride. Its Georgia, there are alot better Landmarks we could thro out there. So My vote, is STONE MOUNTAIN

I live in the highlands also, off amsterdam ave and N highland. One house away from DBA BBQ. That must have been rough growing up with the park rangers as friends, i bet you never got a good camp site :D.....There are some pretty good camping spots off some trails up in N Ga that i have ran into, maybe an hour and a half away or so. the trails that i went exploring were not too bad, i did it completly stock (4x4). If we could get some people together id go back and try to figure out where i was and explore more.

Stone Mountain is way closer for me too, but ill go where ever the masses want to go.......but stone mountain is way nicer and still pretty central

If yal are so hell bent on having it in Atlanta, you might want to think about the people in Savannah that are going to have to drive 3 1/2 hours for this meet. I dont care, I am only about an 1 1/2 hour away from Atlanta... I was just trying to think where we could meet that most people could drive to and drive back in an afternoon.

Only other thing I have found that is close to macon (middle of state) is High Falls State Park. It is about 40 Minutes north of macon and is the closest park to central GA that is right off the interstate. This would make the Savannah drive about 2 1/2 hours Im guessing.

Just another option trying to please everybody....

For this first meet a more central state location makes sense and is probably better, and that makes Macon the best opportunity for everyone to meet. I don’t mind driving anywhere, but can respect the lack of enthusiasm for driving 3+ hours. I say we try to have the first meet in Macon the weekend of the 10th then if we want we can have mini meets after that.

I know there are a lot of people in the Atlanta area, so we can try to set up another meet at a later date, maybe get some trails and camping in?????

Edit: That wheeling/camping trip will obviously be open to anyone that cares to join us
