Thanks, sad part is that it was part of the deal for my wife to get the new Sienna so it's not like I have money freed up for mods though.

Got rid of 1 payment and took on a new one but it still feels good to know it's ours.

I paid mine off in 3 years. It's a good feeling. (Especially when you're going to college and still manage to pay it off 2 years early).

I did the exact same thing. Paid it off in three years in college. Now that I'm graduated, I'm trying to convince myself I need a 2nd gen :D

    I've always wanted a 2nd gen w/ a 6" lift and 35's...does that make me a douche?

Eh, I've already got the 3" lift on my 2001 and am about to get 33's, so that's gonna be my play toy. The 6" lifted 2nd gen will be my redneck limousine!

 Haha my 2001 will always be my offroad buggy....I'm in the process of collecting parts for a 4wd swap...I'll be unstoppable then!

The 2nd gen (which is still probably a few years down the road) will just be my mall-crawler :anonymous:

That would be ideal to have the 2nd gen as your daily and the 1st gen as the toy. I unfortunately do both in mine. I personally love the height of my truck for me and it actually works well offroad despite all the criticism I get. Whenever you get to the point your ready to buy I definitely recommend to buy the truck stock and do the lift yourself so it can be done right. And I highly recommend going with bds or zone for the lift

Yeah, I plan on doing the lift myself. I don't trust other folks to mess with my truck lol. The only thing I take it to the shop for is for my 50,000 mile transmission flush; everything else, I do on my own. The upsides are 1. you know it's going to be done right, 2. you don't get overcharged, and 3. if something goes awry, you'll know how to fix it.

I love the height of the 6" lifts on 35's, too. I don't like the douche-wagons some people drive to overcompensate...the dudes who ride around blasting rap music on rockstar wheels who blow all daddy's money. I just want a batmobile with a 6" lift!

Only reason I'm sticking with 3" and 35s is to keep the CoG lower. I can't imagine a really tippy area on more lift

Plus I plan on going LT in the future...and going from 6" DB to LT wouldn't be easy at all.

On the up side though, if I went with a 6"+ lift...I'm already cut enough to almost be able to stuff 40s... :spy:

Yeah, I wouldn't go over 3" on my 1st gen. How did you fit 35's on a 3" lift? I thought the most you could stuff under there was a 33"?

EDIT: nvm...just saw you did some major cutting

Cut tons and it still rubs the top of the wheel well at full flex haha. I guess I need bigger bumps? :notsure:
