Says the guy with a 2nd gen that has the extra do dads. Atrac/trac, heated mirrors, electric 4wd actuators, etc.[/QUOTE]
I don't have heated mirrors? Or 4wd anything?

A heavy duty is not full size... it's a heavy duty, in which Cummins is the best way to go.

Damn... my dad has had an ecu die, blew the diff, the transmission isn't all that smooth, the serpentine belts don't last on it, and he's had some other stuff I didn't help with

I know but second gens regardless has a lot more technology then a 1st gen so that's not a good non-selling point (I guess that's what its called? :notsure: )

Hands down, my '13 is the fanciest, most tech-heavy vehicle I've ever owned. Also the most expensive ($25k). I bought it in '14 with 6,800 miles on it. PO wanted something bigger and I wanted something smaller.

Same with my '00. I've only had a '92 4Runner and this so....

My '03 has power windows and locks and I hate the power windows. I've replaced the driver's side one and it's fine now, but now the passenger side one is going bad. I'd rather just hand crank them bitches!

Also, I hate that the first gens have all the emissions crap. I don't have to get emissions tests done here in Butts Co, but I hate that the damn CEL light will come on if you sneeze too loud. My '01 had a P0402 (IIRC) and my '03 has a P0420 that comes one every 100 miles or so. Fortunately, I have an Ultragauge, so I can just cancel it out. I'm not paying for a new catalytic converter to save .5 MPG.

Selling my ARE X-Series for an Access Cab

We have decided to change to a high-rise shell, so I am going to sell my X-Series.

As stated, it is for an Access Cab truck. Windoors, front fold down window, Yakima tracks on the roof, just over 1 year old.

If anyone is interested, let me know. Would much rather sell it here than deal with Crag's list...

My trucks manual everything other than hubs. I like the simplicity of it but I want the perks that come with a new truck. Nice paint, no miles, no rattles or snap and pops, fresh start, 6spd, v6, new car smell, and all the looks you get driving by in a nice new truck, knowing you spent an ass load of money on it and you're proud

I've already put seats in it, still not happy. Engine swap is a pita. 6spd would be pointless. Power windows and locks would be a pita. New car smell seams reasonable, the ratling dash and driver door is probably not easily fixable

I used to live out there and I never saw it. Of course I was closer to Acworth than Dallas
