    We went to Vogel a few weeks ago (Labor Day Weekend)...definitely not my scene. The wife and I like to tent camp, but we like to be extremely secluded and Vogel is yuppie city. There were hundreds of people everywhere we went...I guess it'd be a cool place to take kids, but if you're trying to have a nice, quiet getaway, this is not the place to go.

    the main vegetables I like are raw spinach, onions and hot peppers, and well, no one else in my family likes said combo. lettuce is alright, but its not really good or bad for you. as far as fruit, ill eat apples, blackberries, raspberries, and I love strawberries, but I never get any at walmart...

    I already know Lord Lift-a-lot from the beard thread, amongst other places. We're supposed to go out for beers. I'll have a house to myself until my parents wander into town late Christmas eve. You however, I do not know you, but I assume you have meats, what kind of meat? I'd prefer to keep my money local, but shopping on Xmas eve may not work out so well...

    I've read about this jerky. To be honest, I havent eaten bambi in years. Not sure if I'm still a fan of wild game. :anonymous:

    I'm making my parents bring fresh Florida seafood to the cabin for Christmas. Lobster, shrimp, and whatever else I can coax my mom into bringing. :devil:
