    Welcome.

We have plenty of red clay to share! Don't worry, it does wash off - sort of... LOL

Well if you put the spare under the rack it will limit the amount of space you can have to carry stuff. The best option to to leave the spare where its at or get a swingout

As long as I could get some totes, coolers, and a portable grill in I'm good

    Question for Georgia discussion:
Shit hits the fan. Do you hunker down where you are, head South to Florida and the Gulf, East to the coast, or North to the mountains?

It'd depend on what it was, I can hunker down pretty good right here with a filterable stream on my property.

Well, realistically unrealistic but, say Atlanta goes "POOF." I was talking with some teammates at bowling league. Turns out they all have GTFO plans and backup plans. I realized I have no plans, so I've been mulling it over today. Family farm is 4 hours south. 250 acres, plenty of wildlife. Another 90 minutes to coast and we have two boats. Alternatively, we have a family cabin north of Blairsville, 2 hours away. No interstates. Much easier to get to in a tight situation.

Same here. Spring fed, year-round flow. We live in a gully. Plenty of wildlife. I'm no prepper, but I'd like to be prepared, for the sake of my family. I'd like to hatch a few plans: Hunker Down (short-term, say natural disaster, civil unrest), GTFO North (head to mountains, 2 hours), and GTFO South to Fam (head to 250 acre farm and family, 4 hours).

For those of you with retros, how reliable are they? Got a buddy that says halogens are more reliable and I would hope to think that they are not...

    Cause they look sweet af....

Well I'm in Blue ridge with plenty of national forest and wildlife all around me, so I'm not concerned about much. Plenty of places I could go off the grid if i really had to.

PS...I bowl on Monday nights, too

I head south to my fathers. Plenty of tree cover and gun owners :infantry: down there. Plus not but a few clicks from the Flint River.

I have them and they are great. Only problem is they aren't very good when it's kinda dark. Either has to be sun basically down to night time for them to be great.

Whichever direction you head, I suggest NOT going through Atlanta - the traffic will be gridlocked.

Unfortunately, to go around the city, you will have to detour far east or west.
