Guys. I work at Publix. I have seen actual dread on people's face when they see we're out of bread, even though the rest of the store is fully stocked.

 

Nah, sounds good to me. We're stocked on meat. I made a grocery store run for diapers and toilet paper.

 

I don't understand the bread thing. "Snow's coming, let me go buy a product that's mostly AIR." I mean damb, why don't you just buy some Cheese Puffs, they're cheaper?

 

I've been here twenty years. Never heard of eggs being in the mix? It's always been bread, milk, and *beer*.

 

I'm all set for the Wintry Mixpocalypse, thanks to grandma's Christmas gift:

First thing I do before it snows is go to the liquor store. I always keep enough food in the house for a couple weeks, but you can never have too much liquor.

 

I've got like 4 bottles of whiskey, half of scotch, little tequila left and some Rum. Plus about 25-30 beers

 

I made two Get Home bags for our vehicles. Each one contains three liquor shooters for a potentially cold walk home.

 

This summer (seriously, why??) Costco had down throws for $20. Grabbed a couple for vehicle emergency/camping bags.

 

I really need to make a little emergency kit for my truck.

 

Im just glad I have the next 2 days off (scheduled) so I don't have to deal with any of the ya-hoos.
