Here is a story for you, I bought some weathertech floor mats for the 17 quad cab. Well they came in today and I had the darnest time putting the rear mat in. Turns out it is for an access cab and I totally bought the wrong one. My fault 100%. So with that any one need an access cab mat?

 

Yep that rat was in my cab. Not sure how it got in. I only know it's dead now. Hopefully I will never see this again.

No Signs of that yet, and Im keeping my fingers crossed and eyes out. The scary thing is, that it was a female rat. I'm really hoping that rat didn't have babies in my truck. Time will tell, so if i start to smell a stink I will know what it is. I was proactive yesterday and completely took apart the back seat and removed all of the storage compartments. No signs of a nest, just droppings and a lot of piss that got cleaned. I also pressure washed all of the floor mats. Tonight Im going to bissell the seats and carpets, as Im not sure if it peed on my seats or not.
So far no signs of it chewing on any wires. I guess time will tell on that too. My driver side lock button is malfunctioning, but I believe thats a coincidence and getting that taken care of tuesday under warrenty(if its not rat related). Should probably try to find a dirt road some where to test out all of the 4x4 controls.
any how, Im keeping my fingers cross.

 

When I worked at a different dealer we had a Tundra come in had a rat infestation ... all in the air box, in the dash. Even found money it had snagged to make nests. It was crazy!

 

I'm have a factory all weather rear for dual cab if you need it.

 

I was gunna say you need to check the blower for the air and under the dash if you haven't already

Anyone else make it to Sun Trust for Metallica last night? Good show but they are definitely aging.
