If you haven't seen this yet go and sub to it if you wanna do a Mod Day. I've narrowed it down between the most popular dates: September 16th and October 14th so please vote and we can knock this thing out!

 

How about Sept 16 and Oct 14.

I can't make the 16th, and would hate to miss a mod day - especially since we have been trying to get one for a couple of years...

Besides, it sounds like there is a lot work people want to complete. Not sure all of could happen in one day.

Think I'm about to get an orca cooler. 12v fridges are a bit expensive...

 

Spending the weekend at my folks' house, decided to try fixing one of the two broken door locks I have. Bought two motors for two doors. Well, turns out one motor is dead, but only like halfway. Took me assembling and disassembling the thing a dozen times or so to figure that out and then try the other motor. At least the eBay seller says they'll send me a replacement, so I'll still have something to do at mod day.

Moral of the story, if any of you second gen guys have your power door locks start to fail, I'm pretty much a pro at assembling and disassembly all the gears and other internals now...

 

So who ever decides that they want to drive to California with a truck an trailer and want to pick up a few things let me know. I think people over there have more money then they know what to do with haha. Stuff all the time for sale in California for pick up only.

 

That's pretty much the culture over there. They buy stuff and get tired of it way faster than people around here do.

 

Isn't an Orca cooler more expensive?

Had that happen on my 1st gen a few months ago. It was a nightmare, but I got it figured out.

 

Yeah it wasn't great for the first hour trying to just figure out where all the springs and such went. Mine's old enough that it didn't open cleanly like the video/write up that I was referencing did, so it threw up all over the kitchen table the first time I opened it.

 

Pretty sure I'm still drunk from last night/this morning....

Gonna be a long day....................

Ugh...I don't miss those days. I bought a 30 pack Saturday and drank 4 and was in bed by like 9:30...I'm lame now lol

 

Didn't stop drinking till I went to bed at 12:47.... sometimes I hate my friends. Having such a good time that I forget to watch the time....
