Convincing... I'm talk to them. How hard is the trail to get up there?

 

Going up to Hawk Mtn. and camping with the ATL 4Runner group, we'll be leaving Friday night but it's easy to get there if you guys wanted to come up Saturday. No wheeling just drinking/toyota talking/camping all weekend.

Gravel roads, we've seen Subarus get all the way to the top. Nothing difficult



But I thought I posted what we are doing but yeah anybody is welcome, I can give you the "address" on how to get to the top, fairly easy

well, was thinkin about it however daughter decided we are goin to the Demun Jones concert instead

 

I was planning on going up there on Saturday, but my awesome wife got us tickets to the UGA & MISS ST. game. So I'll be in Athens. Y'all have fun and listen out for banjo music.

 

Just google Hawk Mountain Shelter and that's where we will be camping. You can follow us up on Friday evening if you do come

I see what you did there and I like it. I can personally guarantee that the Bulldogs will win. Just can tell what colors they will be wearing.

I was just up there a few weekends ago and had no idea this was a thing.I saw nothing talking or advertising for it, nor could I find any real information on the website. I may try to visit their FB later. Overall, looks like it may be a cool place to go see and maybe do a tasting if they do that.
