What year is your truck I have a drop in plastic liner for a 2000 longbed you can have if it will fit. I am taking it to the dump next week tired of looking at it!

    This man knows.

Btw, would you happen to know about 1st gen rear shock length in stock locations.
What I've read, 10" is to long and 8" is to short. Only length king has, so I've been thinking of going with fox rears in like a 9.6 or so...

It’s a 2004, same generation but it won’t fit. It has to be a DC model. But thanks for asking.

10” will require shocks to be relocated, 8” is what the OME and all that is. It’ll work but your limiting factor is the shocks. Kings can be custom built so you can get whatever you want. It’ll be more expensive.

I recommend relocating the shocks and then get 10” as it’ll work

No sir, probably not. I’d be headed off 75 toward Cassville in the evening, on the north side of town. You around that way? Obviously

Guys I am selling my 265/75r16 Michelin at2 tires (with lifetime transferable warranty)with 11/32 tread is what I was told by Discount last time I rotated them 3,000 miles ago. Discount said the had hardly any wear from new. The wheels are 16 inch American outlaw black rims(no curb rash or rock like new)with 2006 Tacoma Tpms sensors still in them came off my 06 before I sold it, then put them on my current 2000. I have ordered some methods and Goodyear mtr only reason I am selling. $1000 OBO for all 4 rims and tires and will throw in a extra rim with no tire on it for spare and lugs nuts. Not patches or cuts, will not separate! Guy these new were $2000 only maybe 10,000 Miles on them!!

I will also have front struts I believe Monroe, spacer and rear bilsteins 5100 for sale soon once I get my King lift on.
I figured $250 for all of that all are less than 3 months old.

10" travel is the problem. To long, I need the 9.xx" length they have on i believe down south motorsports

Not going custom and I like my spare under the truck, I don't like swing outs

Well you’re not gonna fit 10” shocks correctly. You’ll bottom out every time you flex just a bit. Imo not worth it

Depends on how much flex you have, I had to run 10" for the extended length so the shock would be long enough when extended all the way out. If you fit a shock that is the correct extended length and you are bottoming your shocks out then you need a bigger bump stop. If they are too long then a shorter shock can fix it but make sure you are not over extending it when you flex it out. Mounting a shock on a lifted truck, on the stock mounts and finding one that works collapsed and extended will be hard if not impossible. Even the stock shocks are different lengths.
Like I said before, every truck is different and the best thing to do is measure and find the best one that works for you. If you have to compromise between different lengths you can use a bump stop to lengthen the collapsed measurement. or a limit strap to shorten the extended measurement. But no one can tell you what will work for you without knowing all your measurements.
