Who knows, maybe it actually was the A/C that seized first. 99% sure everything tied to that serpentine is original from 2005. The truck has been in the family since day 1 and I don't remember ever having those things go out before.

If drinking beer on the dock counts as anything happening. That’ll be happening.

One of the 3 idler pulleys could have had a catastrophic failer on you. Happened to me after a weekend of wheeling luckly i was only going like 15 miles per hour and right around the corner from my house when the belt crapped out.

Idlers didn't look too bad when I reached in an yanked on them, but again, I didn't have time to tear it open. GAS still hasn't updated me yet, so I don't know what the official diagnosis is. Granted, there could be like half a dozen cars in front of me for all I know.

So assuming they can re-use idlers, tensioner, P/S pump, and alternator, it's looking pretty manageable as far as repair costs go. That's including new cam seal, water pump/plugs (since they gotta come out anyway), and a couple other misc things I asked them to do while they have the truck (fix parking brake and a new battery). I'd imagine even if the other front end components need replacing it can't go up astronomically since they'll already have the thing torn open.

Bunch of hippies making their way to Bull Mtn outside of Dahlonega. They are having their annual Rainbow Gathering and decided to have it on the Chattahoochee NF. They are expecting 3k-15k hippies camped out near there, with the most occurring July 1-5. Already some camped out along the roads and several road closures over there.

Hey everyone! First time posting here. Met a couple of you cats at AtlantaTakeover. I had the black DCLB 2nd gen in the back corner. Got some new tires coming in this weekend and Just wanted to put out feelers and see if anybody knew of a good place that can check/fill Nitrogen in Shocks. Think my rears are low. Also where does everybody go to get a decent alignment around here?

So I’ve been wanting to get a pep boys or similar lifetime alignment deal. Cause after time you modify your suspension more and will want another alignment, or after a harsh off-roading trip. Something to consider

I think I'm switching to 15s. 18s are to stiff and heavy

I've been interested in that as well. Would be cool if there were a shop that specialized in trucks with a lifetime alignment deal.
