DO IT. Tires are crazy cheap and the more the tire the better it looks on the first gens
I feel the same. Truck has been a pavement princess for a while now

Not sure if I'm going to like the look. Thinking 15x10 fuel anza in the grey with black ring.

Is there any store I can put them on and see if I like them?

Im thinking about getting some 15x10 steelies for my 98 4Runner. My taco has 16x10. Their cheap and IMO they look good. Down side they’re heavy AF. Tire rotations suck.

Most places will let you put them on when they have them in stock. Discount always let me try then before they’re mounted it.

I doubt anyone would have any of the 15 fuels. Only found one guy so far on Instagram who has them. Asked him if he has any good lighted pics from the side.

    Awaiting reply from him

Looks like an expensive repair for a ship to do. Makes no sense how that seal got torn up like that. Shouldn’t the pulley protect it?

Ended up renting a boat for the day. Played around a cool island near the Nottely dam. Cooking ribs all day tomorrow. Classic car show on the square. No sign of patchouli kids, just a lot of Jeep Bros everywhere.

The belt can still get behind the pulley. BMW E90 3 series (mainly 335i) have this issue. It’s bad with them too. Belt peices can get in behind the seal and get into timing components. Makes for a real expensive repair on them.

Do our trucks have an "emergency brake" or a "parking brake"? By that I mean if I'm rolling is the thing supposed to be able to stop the truck, or just be able to hold it after it's stopped?

I would think manuals have an emergency brake and autos have a parking brake. But again I think they're the same thing as they both will stop your car

    Edit:

    https://www.yourmechanic.com/articl...etween-a-parking-brake-and-an-emergency-brake

It's all the same damn thing.

it's deemed a "parking brake" per the manual (see page 154 - I randomly picked a 2010 model)

I grew up learning them as one in the same (ie, they should both stop the truck when moving in an emergency situation), but I've noticed lately that mine won't hold in forward gear. In reverse it'll stop after a little bit. I had it adjusted, so maybe I just need to do the "drive in reverse and pump the e-brake" thing a few times? I think it would hold on a hill since I had it engaged while in reverse then tried pushing on the front pretty good, and it didn't move towards the curb.

Or am I just being OCD about it?
