Any suggestions for good North GA trails to hit next weekend? close to Blue Ridge

 

The offroad registry map doesn't show a whole lot near Blue Ridge, but others may chime in with more experience.

Clayton is the area you want to go for the good stuff.

@marinemonkey , thanks for the excellent job on the cab mounts!!! Looks really good and anybody thinking about doing a cmc, I highly recommend looking up @marinemonkey and letting him take care of you.

 

Love Tiger. The Glassy Mountain lookout tower just west of there is one of my favorite places in the entire state.

Note - these quick release fasteners would work well to secure pelican/storage boxes to a plate, surface, bar or just about anywhere. Yes I know it’s overkill, but they are cool.

 

Yes sir! Used to do overnight camping trips there back when I was a Cub Scout. Great views of burton.

NE Ga and Western NC are truly some gems in the US. I say that having been blessed to have had the opportunity to see a lot of the US. Still glad to call GA home.

I’m a little further away now that I’ve moved, but if you really need a hand I can come up there this evening.

 

Checking in out of Middle Ga. 2017 Taco. Anyone interested in Morris mountain should come with on Oct 27th.

 

I'm going to seriously consider going. Met a couple of folks around the Carroll county area who have been and spoke well of the place.

 

I went a few times in my TJ before I traded it in for the Taco. It is fun and there are plenty of trails and bypasses for all skill levels. Its a great weekend trip. We will have tacos, 4runners, and a lexus going.

 

Sounds like fun. I only have two small projects to do before I feel park and trail ready and shouldn't take more than a week or so if I will just get off my arse. Got to run my diff vent up and beat the crap out of pinch welds.

 

I have a lot to do, I will be installing an entirely new suspension and I would like to get my diff breather relocated.

 

I'll see if I cant order the parts for the diff vent next couple of days and shoot you a PM with details if you like. Looks to be less than $20.

 

I appreciate it, bad thing is I have ordered the parts but just havent done it. Lol. I too am lazy. I used the thread on this forum to get the part #'s and I bough some clear hose from Ace Hardware to run behind the taillight.
