Unfortunately, Atlanta is not really "southern" anymore, but we'll take anyone from Texas any day. Welcome. Just don't hunt where I hunt ;)

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Atlanta is far from Southern, I moved here after college in 2001, from Athens. Before then I grew up from Valdosta to Macon. Atlanta is not Southern, it just happens to be in the south.

For example. If you say, hey yall who wants to go down to the fresh air and grab some memaws cooking. The millennials will take a pic of your old as$ and throw it up on instagram, then you have another group that will just take offense that you might have talked about their Memaw (pew pew..bullets wiz by), lastly you will be rear ended on your way to get food so you will never get to taste Memaws banana puddin’ ;)

Hard pass for me. Way too far south, and hot. God’s country in my eyes is north Georgia.

I used to get annoyed when people refered to ATL as north Georgia. I’m biased though, grew up on the GA/NC/SC line so everything was south GA to me.

I know, but it's more Southern than Dallas, and Fort Worth claims to be "where the West begins." I tried to order sweet tea in the stockyards and was told "Honey, we don't serve sweet tea. That's a Southern thing and this is the West." Everywhere else has sweet tea though.

What about Floridians. You accept them?

North Florida is great. Big ass pickups and plenty of guns.

Two or three times a year. Great place. Stayed at the Trout Lodge right by the bridge last time. Great motel. Each room has its own grill and propane. Fire pit by the bridge and a good diner. Very affordable. Hoping to get out to Dally's for Streamerfest this winter. Good luck! I'm jealous.

We try to go twice a year. Stay at His place resort. What’s your big fish from out there? We’ve caught a few over 6 lbs, one over 7. I’ve got some buddies that came back from there today, and 2 more leaving to go tomorrow morning. They usually catch 10+ lbs, big fish of like 18 lbs................

Probably around six as well. I know a lot of folks get some pretty big browns throwing mouse patterns at night. I haven't done it.

I’ve thrown mice at night but never had any luck. We don’t just fly fish though. We throw everything.

I accept most Floridans except those that have an annoying ass chant, which by your avatar it seems you do :bananadead:

You cannot be a true southerner without a Toyota truck and a desert racing inspired suspension.
