I don't know what size it is off the top of my head, but I have it from when we replaced @punchyouwithmyfoot 's wheel bearing/hub assembly several months back.

I don't want to hold onto the tool until April if that's when the mod day will be, so maybe we plan to do this a weekend before then.

    @CowboyTaco

I've already done my bearing, so no worries if you hold onto it until April:thumbsup:

Don’t remember the size but I have it. That thing should be in everyone’s wheeling bag!

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I should have just dropped the trailer when we pulled right up. That’s was ridiculous. Well, here comes my pizza cutters, got some 255/85/16 KM2s next time we roll out.

Just had this powdered while we were away camping, by my buddy Z up at Smoking Gun. SSO Slimline Hybrid w/ 30” cutout for an BD s8. Putting my IronMan winch in it that I won at an off-road event.
Going on the runner soon. I will take pics of the install.
They did some crazy ass light bar cutout, that follows the shape of the Baja Designs lights. We will see what I think once light is installed. Not sure why the cuts weren’t straight across... oh the irony of buying bumpers. Think ya know what your getting..Wrong.
@state48overland - need to y’all today, bumper arrives and need lights for this, the Taco and FJC.

Yea that scallop cut isn’t visible, or present on all the bumpers on their website. Fun how they kinda pigeon hole you into a specific brand of lights.

I personally like BD. But I’m not every consumer. And the last thing I’d want to have to do to my brand new bumper is recut the Lightbar cutout.

Sadly SSO isn’t the only fabricator that does that.

I had to look at it twice before I realized what you were talking about. Yeah, that is special. I don't like that.

I wouldn't recut it though. I would just leave it as is and put a regular lightbar behind it. Kinda doubt anyone would notice unless they inspect up close.

Any thoughts on running the stage 2 of this bumper? I’ve been itching to pull the trigger for the stage 2 for my wife’s 4Runner.
That’s screwy with the light bar cut out. My wife’s is straight cut like in all the pictures. We just threw in an Amazon light bar.

Any 2nd gen owners put a light bar in or behind their lower grille? If so, any instructions on exactly to wire it/install a switch? Pretty clueless when it comes to electrical

There is a mod day coming up in April (I think). You can come to that and get some help. Otherwise, it should come with some pretty simple instructions. The first question: how do you plan to mount it?

I have one. My install was pretty straight forward.

-Light bar was mounted on some angle iron, which was bolted to the crash cans (this was before those mounts were commonly available)
-Wiring ran through the existing grommet on the driver’s side, just poked a hole in the side.
-Switch power was run from a fuse tap, I had it from the horn fuse since I wanted the bar to be able to turn on whenever. That one’s up to you how you wanna wire (an always on circuit vs an ACC only circuit, etc)
-The of course relay was wired to battery, with the switch connecting to the trigger circuit of the relay (didn’t install an aux fuse block on that truck).

Thought about stage two. I am on the fence as of now. I do like it. Looks kinda off, def more aggressive looking.
Yeah I picked the BD from the drop down as that’s the light that’s going in there...and there ya go.

@Built2Ride Didn't you say you had some 3rd gen ditch light brackets you’d sell?

Anyone have any brands they’d recommend buying or staying away from? I feel like I asked this recently but can’t remember the answer.
