    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

    @TheUglyOne
    Sorry, about the bs first response. I was running heavy equipment and had my hands full. To answer your question, these are built like tanks. They are gusseted in places most aren’t..in fact I have seen a lot of plate bumpers out there w/out gussets. My interest was a lightweight Alum Baja style with a low profile hoop. I love the CBI T3, but hell I could not get a response from them via email or phone.
    Anyway, Black Friday rolls around and I see this post about State48Overland, in which they are fronting the cost of the bumper while it’s being built.
    Like you, I love helping a grass roots thing, especially if it’s local. But local doesn’t trump everything for me.

    In the end, I do care about asthetics, strength and overall business practices.
    I spoke with Erick and Jay that own State48Overland for a long time..after getting to know them and Jason Demello, my gut said go with it.

    I almost built my entire truck with the SOS armor, as it is local and I did get some great info/knowledge from the owner.

    In the end, they are all bumpers and they will do the job. Ya need to talk with some
    People that own the stuff you want before buying.

    Also, Erick may be able to shed some light on the Demello stuff as he has been putting them on trucks. He has first hand knowledge with it and can tell you way more than I can.
    @state48overland
    Care to send my buddy some pics or a link to the inside of those bumpers we ordered.

    Just received an email from Jason....we got 3rd Gens with light bar cutouts back from laser cut. Fabrication starts this week on my orders and his. There is an overstock of 4 steel left to be fab'd this month. If anyone is interested and wants 20% off DM me and I can speak for them. These will go quick. If you want hoop options low profile or regular baja hoops it can be done too.

    Thanks fellas!

    @TheUglyOne

    Should you decide to jump on a Demello. I am ordering another pallet soon that you can jump on if ya wanna save on shipping too!?
    I will be getting a FJC steel rear bumper and one for the taco. However the one for the taco may be further out (design wise) than anticipated.
    Anyway, there will be another pallet coming to ACC.

    I am tripping out on the inside of this thing. I went to school for Sculpture making some crazy ass stuff for film. But this looks like some sort of spaceship!

    I can see it now, what’s that..just above the clouds...
    Oh oh, it’s a 3rd gen Demello rear with holes cut for flush mount BD S2s, a place for the backup camera, and what’s that!! A cut in the bumper that appears to be a bottle opener!! GTFO
    Holy Hell, I can see it even better. Has options for single or dual swingouts, for idiots like me that insist on pulling their kitchen behind them!
    HOLY BALLS it appears that it comes in HC and reg!

    How glorious! Wink..wink..nudge nudge.

    I’m in the minority, but I’m still somewhat partial to the original DO front face on the aluminum. But both are sexy!
    Hmmm whatcha got up your sleeve? At liberty to share?
    Nah. 3rd gen rear :D
