Thought my aal was squeaking a couple thousand miles after install. It sounded like 10 birds chirping cruising slow through a parking lot. I hit my leaf spring bolts with some kroil and now it's quiet. I wonder if that's coincidental timing, or my aal somehow caused it.

We'll see how long it stays quiet. I need to either grease those bolts eventually or swap them out for the bolts with zerks.

You just gave the birds some worms to shut them up temporarily.

I have yet to find any OEM leaf springs with an AAL installed, or a full aftermarket leaf pack replacement for that matter, that is permanently squeak free.

It's weird that after installing my AAL, my oem leaf bolts which were untouched started squeaking. I read someone on here have the same thing happen, though, so maybe there's something to it.
I'll try taking them out eventually and lubing them to see how long that lasts.
If it doesn't last, I have these saved for future reference: https://www.dobinsonsdirect.com/pro...it-for-toyota-tacoma-and-tundra-2005-to-2018/

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Should of gotten a pro. I smash every bump I see. But I do ride with a mouth piece in as well. BRRAAPPpp

Ahh Tifton. I used to go down there for football camp. Hot as hell, and you literally breathe nats all day long.

It must have done us some good. We were undefeated every year.

Grease ‘um and torque them to spec, and keep rolling.

If I was to fix my 3rd gen up, probably ads with clickers.

I like my kings but they only ride well when off road and the lower bearings are squeaking at 30k miles. Not sure if that's good or bad but seems like they should've lasted alot longer

My 3-Leaf squeaks like a SOB. They were dead silent until December when I went trail riding after all of that rain. I've done everything short of disassembling them to get them quiet and they just won't shut up.

Put some weight in that bed. The ones I bought from you aren’t making noise. I didn’t add grease or anything, just stuck them in.
I wonder if he constant load that I have in the bed has to do with it?
