All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Question. I have both, an over rated TRD intake and a expopoints Dodinsons Snorkel. Have been waiting on a new template design, before I drill a bunch of holes that are a 1/4” off from some wanky template.
My question is, why won’t this snorkel work with the TRD. I figured I just needed to extend the hose.
Care to share some knowledge.. o grand wizard of all dragons!?

I'd actually like to come over when you do the snorkel install. I'm kind of on the fence. I may go this route instead of the intake.

....wife would kill me though....not sure how I'm still alive, so maybe she won't...

@BYJOSHCOOK and @bryanbyers28 have like 6 snorkel installs under their belt and for a case of beer would be glad to help I’m sure (course Bryan prolly doesn’t have much free time anymore with his new kiddo). I’ve also done mine. Just take a few shots or shotgun a beer to get the jitters out of the way and go to town with a drill

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the tube that goes from the snorkel to the intake. I don't think the intake has a spot to connect to it. I could be wrong as I'm a peasant first gen and we don't get any special stuff

This is a valid statement :anonymous: But yes shot gunning a beer or funneling a beer from your snorkel tends to cure the jitters of the first hole

That can be arranged. Either could arrange a drop ship for you, at a post office of your choice or FedEx/UPS Pickup.

I'm such a fool. Fought getting one and now I'm just kicking myself. I'll call these places tomorrow. Hopefully they are in stock! I may have it shipped to Tennessee to my friend who is driving out to ride with me, or I'll mail it to a USPS store. Thank so much!

True. However you can carry that down to a stream, then filter out of it.
Really as much as your doing. I would get the water tank, place it at the bull head of the the bed. Carry a hose and 1 of the 7 gallons for transport.
I know sounds like a lot, but water is what we consist of, and we need a lot of it.
If you start to experience headaches, it means your not getting enough.

Really been loving the simplicity of this kit. You can mount it like a Jerry Can. Filter water. Pressurize it. Shower.

My current setup is a bunch o’ RotoPax attached to the AllPoo accessory rack.
I throw my MSR Guardian down in those jammers and just filter from their.
Kinda nice because the RotoPax just fit sitting on top of the Decked system in the bed,
And locked to the rack using some in godly amount of extenders lol
