Just invest in a damn good set of bumpers and gently nudge them into the ditch!

Are you talking about square tubing being welded onto/into the bumper for the mounts?

I actually pictured round. Good, thick walled, round pipe.
The poles to support the hammock would be round also (of course).

Ahh, I was viewing it as on the side of the bumper, you have square tubing as the mount and you slide the stinger with the round tubing holding the poles to hang the hammock on. I know nothing about welding, I am probably overthinking it. Was looking as it would be a removable feature and not permanently being attached to the bumper.

I was thinking something like this would cover the square hole.

The hammock hanging from the roof rack is nothing. Have you seen where the folks in the UK will hang a hammock INSIDE the vehicle? They close the front door on one hang strap, stretch out the hammock diagonally inside, and the close the rear hatch (or rear door) on the other hang strap. Some have to remove head rest or fold down the seat backs, but it works!

In all honesty, I've felt like mine has been a bit sluggish lately. I'm hopeful that the service at 150k will breathe some life back into it. I cleaned the air filter, TB and MAF recently just for the fun of it, but that didn't seem to help. I'm debating whether to use some SeaFoam through the vacuum line before I change the spark plugs.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    2 sets ordered. Thx homie

Good eye! Who dangles above their toddler like that. Oops, I guess it wasn’t a strong hold after all... just pile drives the little one back to the Stone Age.
