    Not in the "official" campgrounds.

Of course, as long you don't get out of control, no one will know...

Morganton Point is an "official" camp ground.

Several places out Old Dial, Wilscot Cemetary Rd, Antioch Cemetary Rd, that general vicinity. You'll really just have to look around and see what's available. Most of them are just random spots off the road.

If you haven't already decided on a location, then check out Moccasin Creek campground, which is located on the shores of Lake Burton. There is also a restaurant near by called LaPrades that might be worth checking out. I've tent camped at Moccasin Creek before. It's been about 10 years ago, but it was a nice little campground. I've never eaten at LaPrades so I can't say much one way or another. Have fun!

I camped at Moccasin Creek as a kid. To a kid, it was nice but that was a long time ago. Glad you mentioned it. Now I want to go back up there and check it out!

Same. I trout fished there as a kid and it was fun. I think it's pretty far away from Blue Ridge, though. The wife and I camp a few times a year in North Ga and we try to go somewhere different each time. When we went to Blue Ridge last Oct., we went to Whispering Pines Campground...it's a privately owned place, but it was nice. They mainly cater to RV's, but they had primitive camping for us, too, which was really secluded...only downside was no river to fish...it was literally just woods, which kinda stinks if you like to fish.

I've got a few other places that we really liked that are close to fishing spots and far away from people, but none of them are close to Blue Ridge. Let me know if you're interested.

If anyone is interested in a ride this weekend.

Peach State Overland is having a meet up this coming Saturday at Talladega National Forest.
