GA Traverse camping trip 11/20

No worries. First weekend is anniversary and 2nd I've got another trip planned.

 

Well damn

 

still need to submit my leave but got it printed out and passed word to the lady friend i wont be in town that weekend. im excited. im taking her easy camping in a state park earlier in the month but i miss stuff like this out in the woods. also, so im planning on taking thursday off and maybe starting the drive up wed after work and then grab a hotel somewhere or something that night and meet up with you once you get off and roll out with you in your cool with that @gixxerphil

 

That works for me.

 

awesome. also gives me a reason to deck out the truck going into work to show it off. i still havent installed my swing out. just wish i had a hard cover to keep the gear more secured

Glad to know im not the only one doing a countdown!

 

We all have been talking about going back since we left. Lol!

 

ya phil was talking about it and i was like "wtf, i thought we were going to do this" but i was out at sea when it happened. Ive been wanting to do the entire thing for a year now, and thinking i might try for it in the spring time or summer.

 

I think my entire family is coming along for this one. Wife and daughter get cold so I keep telling them they need to be sure. Lol!

 

haha, im bringing my buddy heater that i used 2 years ago with the GA crew. thing is so nice. I know im going to get cold but ive also got my cold weather gear from when i was in alaska so should be a ok.

 

@gixxerphil we planning on woods camping or camp ground style? just wondering since im starting to make a list of things to bring.

 

is the plan to start on the west side to and head east? I still need to get time off... but I really want to make it.

 

im meeting derka derk at his work and rolling out with him so i dont know. im just along for the ride and the BS.

We started on the GA last time. I assumed we would do that again this year, but I'm up for anything.

As long as I get to camp, I don't care. I assume the GA side since it's closer for most people.

FTFY. I’ve always thought the traverse would be perfect in the fall for the foliage. Sign us up!
