GA Traverse camping trip 11/20

Should be plenty of room at Jack River. We could even all go up where the horse area is. When we went in Summer all but one actual spot was taken but no one up in horse field. Also, there is a little area to the left before you get to Jack River that is a camp area too. No one was at this one.

We might try and come up after work Thursday if that’s where we are meeting. Depends on how my crew is feeling.

 

I wouldn't think too may people will be out camping in Nov......least I hope

 

It’s gonna be cold like last time so bring more than you brought last time lol

And last i heard my leave was approved so im good to go! like phil said, ill be rolling up and meeting him after he gets off.

 

Like I said in other thread, I'm 90% going. Of course that may change but I hope not!

dude, esp after this trip out. its crazy hot out here still. i go outside to smoke and get some fresh air and im dying from the heat in just minutes. makes me miss alaska weather.

 

I been looking at Mr Buddy Heaters tonight and the winter insulation liner for RTT.

 

I know it'll be deer season

 

Those are nice I’d just be careful with them! I’ve been looking at the insulators too.

dude the buddy heaters are amazing. ive got one i use with my tent setup. so nice. and fast to warm up. depending on which tent i use, i just place it either in it (big tent) or in my gear annex (small tent) and turn it on first thing in the morning before i start getting dressed.

 

True...it will be hunting season. May have to get a license ($170 1 day then $70 thereafter or $400 annual!). But we'd eat good...

 

Would it matter if I plow one with my Roo Bar? Have I mentioned how excited I am about that damn bumper?

 

dont tempt me.... its been 5 years since i last hunted. (and i fucking missed.....) good question, anyone planning on maybe going pew pew during this trip? only ask since i know there will be littles running around and such.

 

The 23zero is only $150. I have been eyeing it since last trip. The heater I would turn on for a little while before bed and in morning. I’ll be a hero to wife. She is going to be freezing. So the heater will give me brownie points.
