GA TRAVERSE YEARLY TRIP March 11th-13th

Alright so here is the tentative schedule. These are simply ideas and not necessarily set in stone. I will be going over Thursday night. I will be camping Thursday night at Tallulah falls campground. More info here. I thought for guys who will be there Friday early we could ride the traverse to Cooper Creek Campground More info here. From there on Saturday i thought we could just ride on over to jacks river and spend the rest of the day there. Its not that far. Chill and head out sometime on Sunday to head home. Let me know what you guys think.

Bump, for anyone who may be interested.

 

Theres a neat little town right off the GA traverse path called helen. Looks like a cool place to spend a couple of hours if yall want to. Theyve got something called a mtn coaster and mini golf and some other cool stuff.

We have done Helen several times including the coaster. Very fun! Lots to do look at and places to eat. Cool camp site on Creek called Andrews Cove close to Helen where we have camped before.

Whos going to be there thursday night? I know Tyler said he was ging to be there.

 

Plan for those going. Acoording to google maps the quickest route between first camp site and last campsite is just over 80 miles. So we have 2 options. One we can ride the whole GA traverse trail to jacks river, not sure how long that would take. Probably more than a day or 2. Or we can ride all day friday and see how far we get then just jump on the closetset route to jacks river and hang out there the rest of the trip. Also could just find a nice campground or spot someone where along the traverse trail.

I was up near tallulah river campground this past weekend for a wedding. Actually past the road that leads to the campground lol so im going the exact way i just went this past weekend lol. Saw a bunch of fj and Tacoma going down that road.

 

Whos ready for This weekend? Forecast right now shows rain early Friday and should be cleared up for the rest of the weekend.

 

Me! I’ll be there Thursday night. I’m bringing some firewood too, I’ll try to keep it dry

 

sweet, i know @gixxerphil said he would be there and i know @TRD Tyler said he was coming as well. Ill be there around 10ish central time.

 

I'll probably head up there during the afternoon, so I should be there around 4ish
