Caught a small (2 ft) hammerhead on the same stretch of beach last October. Every now and then I toy with the idea of going specifically for shark since I love shark steaks on the grill but don't know if I want to subject myself to the shark huggers hate when I don't release one back.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Lol too funny.
We are all Captains of our own boat, and I for one and not telling another person how to drive it.

The site looks to be temp offline. It’s pretty neat to see where all the sharks are roaming and how far they journey.
They also have a free App for you phone.
I’ll check it out when I am getting my surf or paddle boarding on, just for kicks..not like it matters.

Hammerheads are no joke. I remember my gma getting out of the boat to take a wiz. She got back in and a hammerhead struck the motor shortly after she climbed in.

Yep. I have seen sharks this big a good bit off the pier. As well near Fort Clinch.

This sounds like a fun place to visit, I’ve never been.
Don’t think I can commit a full week.
For those that have been, is Thursday to late for a beach pass?

This can be arranged. Appreciate the input. @BYJOSHCOOK looks like Meagan has her pizza fix solved.

    I did some stuff.
I'm only committing to the weekends of the trip. I have to work during the week. Honestly its hit or miss with the passes. I've seen them sell out on a Thursday and I've seen them have plenty leftover all weekend. I think it just depends on if there is a holiday the weekend you go.

I thought about that too, but you have to present a valid drivers license, the license number, and the tag number for the vehicle its for.

My folks are driving separately, so maybe I will get one for that vehicle too. Just Incase someone needs one.

Also, if possible park/camp as far North on Peters Point as possible.
I rented an AirB&B that my folks are staying in, and woukd be awesome if we could get as close as possible, so we can access the pool ;)

    Well shiver me timbers!

Just Google Mapped it to see what the GPS Coordinates were, and low and behold, someone has planted Buried Treasure just above where we will be camping.
    Let’s get to it!

I will be rolling down on the 8th and leaving on the 15th.
Got to pick up some of my family heading south on the way, so not exactly sure of the time of my arrival.
I will keep you all posted to my where abouts and such. Got to get a new windshield on the taco. I have some crazy cracks running thru it from two hits.

If we end up going it'll be the 14th-17th I'm pretty sure, I may end up swapping the dates if most people are leaving
