All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

I was looking at the pics of your truck.
What is that thing attached to the bed rail on the passenger side? Can’t figure it out.

On Saturday I started at the east end of the Georgia Traverse and ran it to Helen where we camped for the night (did not do Tray Mountain due to it being closed).

Here is a video of the Tallulah River crossing and the Charlie's Creek section for those of you who have not been! I did my best to avoid the mud puddles since I was alone with my fiancee and our pup. If you haven't done this section, it is fun and easy! Good camping opportunities along the way as well.

I'll be doing more sections of the Traverse, posting photos, and exploring northern Georgia a lot this fall and winter. Check out my instagram @pupandhistruck if you want to follow along. Feel free to drop me a message if you want to link up and hit some trails!

The rack is for a 2nd gen long bed so the mounting location is 1” short for the 3rd gen so I made something to make it work and also mount my high-lift

Nice, I have a similar issue with one of my racks. Did you weld up another plate. Or just bolt a plate to the rack and the rail?

Anyone have a recommendation on an easy hike to some stroller friendly falls? I'm itching to get outside and into some trees.

The rack is aluminum... I can’t weld that yet so it is just plates bolted to it.

If anyone’s interested I’ll be heading up to the Cohutta or Blue Blue Ridge this Saturday. Will probably end up camping. Nothing crazy, just trying to cross a few more untraveled FSR’s off my list.

Decided on visiting the Blue Ridge district. Going to be heading out from Nimblewill around 11a tomorrow. Game plan is to hit as many open seasonal FSR’s as possible.
