I think you will want to hear what Kemp is releasing for tomorrow to get a better sense on this. What Keisha released is going to be different from the restrictions that will be enforced.

In my town, they initially threatened a $1000 fine. I called out the city council on how ridiculous that was. I said "oh you're gonna go fine the homeless $1000 for not going home? Then what, pack them all in a jail cell for their safety?" They backed off pretty quickly. It's been pretty testy here. With the local ordinance enacted, they waived the 4th amendment and multiple lawyers are filing suit saying it's a massive overreach to do that in the name of safety. Shelter-in-home does not need the added note of "local govt. can enter your home without warrant." They keep going back & forth opening and closing city parks and greenspaces.

My advice: Just go wherever you want and claim ignorance if any authorities give you trouble.
In these times Asking for forgiveness is way more appealing than asking for permission.

The thing that sucks, and it's constitutional, is if an emergency declaration is made, then those rights are essentially halted provided there is a defined end-date in the declaration. Sucks, and it's what has been a major point of contention locally and has me at odds with my Lib friends. They want to just feel safe, at any cost. And I'm like "hey, NO. You don't have to give the local govt. this much leeway. Think of how this can be taken advantage of." They just don't see it because they're scared and want to feel safe.

yes, but just be smart about it. The state can not limit your travel and a officer still has to have PC to stop a vehicle. How is a police officer going to know why you are out and about? DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT and you should be fine.

Keep a box of mac'n cheese in a shopping bag and say "on my way home from the store."

I was kind of thinking while all this stuff was going down, we should have a camping trip in the middle of nowhere.
