I took vacation for next week, my son's on spring break. I'll probably end up working from home Monday and Tuesday, but will probably be free Wed - Fri if anyone wants to hit up some trails during the day. The forecast for those days looks perfect.

I may just take those 3 days and do the GA Traverse, has anyone ran that? https://www.georgiaoverland.com/georgiatraverse.html I have 4x4, 3" lift on 32s with a winch and traction boards, so it shouldn't be anything I can't handle. My wife wants me to be home to help with the infant at night since she's still working, so I might convoy up, hit a leg, convoy home, and repeat every day instead of camping. :(

There is no beach camping there, but there is camping around the area.

Im planning a trip as well from the 4th-7th, its my spring break as well but still have to work mon-wed. Looking at beach camping, windrock, or my favorite spot just outside of Clayton. Ill keep an eye on this thread to see what you and anyone else ends up doing, it would be cool to get a small group together to do some wheeling/camping.

My wife LOVES the beach. I have a love hate relationship with it.
I hate sand. It gets places it shouldn’t. Overall I enjoy the atmosphere of the beach though.

Never tried. I don’t know how to surf as I’ve never spent enough time at the beach to learn :anonymous:

I would like to learn surf at some point in life. But that requires being at the beach.

I guess hate was a strong choice of words. I could do without the sand, I just really don't like the sticky after affects of salt water. Makes me want to shower instantly. I'm all in for anything fresh water.

Agreed on the overall atmosphere. I'll take the beach in doses. We spent a week at Mexico Beach last summer so I got my fill of the beach for a few years.
