I know it may be hard for some people but if I can get my truck up and running again I'll be going to camp at Lake Blue Ridge Easter Weekend since I'm off April 19-22. So if you'd like to come by all means let me know and we can figure out the details

Radiator is leaking bad so a replacement/upgrade is on the way to me now. Hopefully next weekend (6th/7th) will be getting it done

Did you get a OE replacement or did you get an upgraded one?

I'm getting an aluminum one that people say is good. A few of them have reported issues but they all bought theirs last April so hopefully it's just a bad batch. Still kind of want to repair my current one somehow so I have a backup without spending too much. I'm going to look into it more down the road

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Have done the Alum upgrade on a few rigs now. Everytime the motors ran cooler and were happier.
Get a stick of that Alum weld compound and throw it in there. Man thing ounneed to watch out for us rocks bouncing from trucks getting in there.

Let me find it. It was like JB Weld.
Two part putty, roll it between your fingers and jam it in a leaky hole. Sets even with radiator fluid trying to come out.
I had no fenders on my Truggy and let’s say before I let it go I had used the whole tube on that 4 core Alum rad.
Fenders are a good thing. Just wouldn’t work with the big tires I was rolling.
I miss that ‘85 Truggy, took me all over the place. Was crazy slow, but would slowly crawl up anything. The Longfields were a nice touch.

Jealous. Still have yet to ride there.

I’m about to be selling a couple bikes if you know anyone in the market.

One is a 2015 Giant Stance 2. Pretty sure it’s a small frame. My wife road it one season before getting preggo and hasn’t ridden it since. Fairly basic entry level full suspension bike. I’m also toying with the notion of selling my 2016 Trek Stache 7, 17.5” frame. Both are pretty much stock other than Ergon grips.
