We did a decent amount of walking around the park. Kids were worn out that day, but no one really slept that good. The littlest fell asleep hard on the drive home and didn't wake up til about bedtime. The oldest, who is normally up early, had to be woken up for school today.

It went about as expected, but the sleeping arrangements will need to be improved before the next outing.

    Same crap everyone else got
    Nice pics.
I had mine out camping this weekend too. first time for the 1.5yo and 2nd time for the 3.5 yo.
we have a huge REI 8 man tent and we had a queen sized air mattress for us, a twin for the oldest and a pack and play set up for the youngest. Well the youngest ended up sleeping between us the entire night. Not much sleep was had by the adults but the kids seemed to sleep fairly decent.

The Destination Outdoor event was a lot better than I thought. Was like Yota Mafia meets but better because you could basically do whatever you wanted. Camp all day, look at rigs, go “wheeling” etc. super fun and just very simple. Will be going to the next one which is rumored to be in NC. 11/10 do recommend

Not much. I ended up putting my 3 year old in the sleeping bag with me around 2am. He kept getting scared and would wake up and slap me and momma to make sure we were still there. Putting him in the same sleeping bag was tight, but at least we both slept.....some.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Let me know yo

I am tentatively busy (I could cancel) on the first weekend, but the second weekend (11 - 13) is open for me.

Veteran's Day is Friday, the 11th.

You all good for that weekend?

I think that is the weekend of the Blue Angels homecoming in Pensacola. We are currently planning to be there for that.

    Hmmm....

I haven't been to an airshow this year, and will miss Wings Over North Georgia this weekend. I need to think about this.

I took our oldest kid out today. We went to westminster SC. The Bigfoot festival was going on. The downtown area was packed. The convenient part of that was there wasn't many people at Chau Ram park. We hiked around there for a while and then went up to Bad Creek and rode trails.

@Scott B. thanks for mentioning the air show sorry you missed but I took the family and my oldest loved it!
We took him to one at ATL motor speedway couple years ago but he was too young to remember much. 8D75E233-3C9A-40FD-A4CC-8AA71B6208BB.jpg

Attended the Georgia Bushcraft event outside Watkinsville, GA last weekend. LOTS of Tacos. Took my smallest one for the weekend and she enjoyed the event and "camping," even if it was just 200 trucks in a field.

Here was my weekend neighbor's rig:

I seen that truck with the red gfc in traffic yesterday. I'm glad you guys had fun at the event. Do you like that awning room? Is it annoying to put away?

The awning room takes 5 mins to put up and take down with one person. It's not ideal in cold & windy conditions as the flat walls act as sails. I learned this in the mountains last year. I do love how much airflow is possible during warmer weather camping, and there is ample room using side by side or stacking cots
