    No, I didn't. I played golf instead.

Meet at the rest area at 11am?

Well grassy gap is closed and appears to be being graded/widened. Bottom tenth of the trail is smoothed out but all soft dirt/mud, then a temp closed gate is up and an excavator blocking the trail.

Well that sucks thats a great trail to run too! So assuming they will do it like Charlie's creek which is definitely disappointing.

    Annual (?) Winter Camping Trip

    When: February 17, 18, 19
    Where: ???

It's that time again - winter camping! Time to harden up your game - freeze your butts off while eating old, cold freeze dried food. At least you won't need a fridge to keep your drinks cold.

    How's that for marketing?

Let's go somewhere scenic, near a body of water (@Pizzasteve5717). Trail riding, hiking, hanging out by the fire. Kayak optional.

    Who's interested?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Yeah we have had some record numbers. GMtn is about 25miles from my house.

It’s all about wearing the right gear up here. It stays in the teens a good bit, was up during the day when the sun is out. If the wind is kicking you can bet the farm it’s gonna be a cold one.
I use a heating blanket when it’s below freezing out, and I learned to spray my zippers on my tent so I can get out in the am. I learned that the hard way lol, glad my camper has removable panels so I can access bed and get out that way.

Thats smart thinking what do you spray your zippers with? I had that issue when I was camping in northern Tennessee with a ground tent.

You can use fast drying silicon or beeswax applied to the zipper occasionally. This will help it from sticking. Don’t use penetrating oils like WD40, as those will stink to hell and back.
