    just a couple comfort items.
Don't feel bad, I have replaced 2 of them already. As I recall they were about $200 installed by a mobile glass guy. Make sure you dont get whatever glass safelite uses its terrible and distorted, they will swap them out if your not happy but why go thru all that. I ended up with a PPG windshield last time and it's fine.

the crack is small enough for now that i would only need a repair, safelite is quoting 100 dollars

had a crack in mine now for the last 4-5 months. Insurance will replace it when it blocks the field of vision. i'll have to pay something like $100. I'll wait because its not too bad yet

I got a "spider web" crack in mine a month after I bought it. I just live with it. Every time I've replaced a windshield, or gotten a new car, I get a crack within the first month anyway.

I was going to wait when my first one got cracked since it was over on the passenger side. But I ended up getting a ticket which forced me to replace. The dam crack wasn't even that long. I was pulled over for the second busted window as well which was on the drivers side but that was just a warning.

I'm pretty sure that in SC it's free for a replacement from most insurance, so call your agent.

Ouch, that sucks. They won't ticket us for that here (that I'm aware of), but older vehicles that require yearly inspections won't pass until the window is fixed.
