I'm wondering if anyone has any kind of review on this camper. I've been looking at the Alu-Cab Canopy camper but the price is a few thousand $$$ more. There is more information out there on the Alu-Cab and the reviews show it to be pretty good. My long term goal is a trip from Georgia to Prudhoe Bay Alaska and back (taking a lot trails in between) and will be living out of it for an extended period of time. If the quality is equal, I'd rather save a few dollars on it so I can spend them elsewhere.
I really do like the fact that the Gaia Camper side doors can support mounting brackets for extra equiptment....

So I'm not a materials engineer but stayed at a holiday inn once - there have been several threads on how much weight one should place on aluminum bed walls. By the time one has a camper, rotopaxs, goes offroad, etc.

Way outside my area, just saying there's a difference between something on the flat bed vs on the sides. And most caps (GFC, RSI, etc.) have molle or other ways to hang stuff internally.

Just ideas, and again, simply passing along prior info FWIW.

We are creating an overview video of the camper to go over it's features in more detail. Overall the camper design, contour and fact it's stainless steel makes it very solid and offers a few benefits for the end user. We like how it combines a lot of features found on other campers into one unit.

    - camper is modular, you can purchase the lower portion (bed topper) and later add the wedge tent upper portion. The lower portion by iteself also has a wedge poptop (without fabric)

    - The bed platform is gas strut assisted (3 sections) and has venting to the level below even when the beds are in the lowered position.
    - Camper is prepped to work with a Topper Tent bed extension to allow sleeping with tailgate down.
    - Tent comes standard with 2 side doors, rear door standard.
    - The side doors are formed in a way to offer a double seal and support accessories / carry some weight and are very solid.
    - Lower side doors and rear door have hook/loop (velcro) prep and screen windows are available for the side doors.
    - Exterior handles on each corner of the camper and upper wedge are very useful when going on / off tailgate
    - Lower portion of the camper can support insulation since the shape of the interior offers lots of surface area

Thanks for the interest an I can go over any of these details directly or video call up close for you if your interested.

We ship them in two pieces, the lower topper canopy portion, then the upper wedge tent which attaches with a seal and 8 bolts for DIY install if you need.

Complete camper can be drop shipped most places and is fully crated for $900. (vs 2K+ for other manufacturers)

Send me a DM if you need more info. Thx
