do you take the jeep trail or what looks like the forest service road just above it ?

 

jeep trail up to the fsr and keep going up to the lake. If you drive past the lake it keeps going up into a really cool meadow.

 

^ that. Calling it a jeep trail is a little misleading. It is more entertaining than the main trail but not difficult.

I finally see the wife tonight so if i go i'll be up on thursday but will leave saturday because i work sunday.

 

Copy. The good spot is on the south side of the lake so if you do go up Thursday be sure to grab it for whoever makes it up Friday

 

Alright i'm in i will head up there thursday and see if i can get the spot.

 

If you use google maps to get to the lake, the directions will have you take the wrong trail. At the intersection below take the trail to the left (or center) to get to the lake.

Warthog and I may be in. Soccer tournaments have pretty much ruled out any Oregon trip.
