I tried those 333 Fab cams and maybe the two alignment shops I went to just didn't try hard enough, but no one was able to get the alignment to an acceptable place. I ended up going with the Bison octagonal cams and then got a decent alignment first try.

On that note if someone wants to buy mine and give them a try I'll sell 'em relatively cheap.

333 and Poly Performance have fewer settings than Bison. However, the Bison cams have too much slop from folks in my off-road club who tried them, so your steering wheel still goes off-center after wheeling.

They had slop with cam gussets welded in? I've been offroad a bit since I got that alignment but nothing crazy. They seem pretty damn tight to me. Maybe something to do with the gusset install?

FWIW.. I had the Bisons prior to the Poly Taco Tabs. They in fact had a sloppy fit. I didn't even run them once seeing the fitment. The Taco Tabs have been solid and are the best option imo (for 2nd gens anyways, thanks for pointing that out @3JOH22A ).

They are also really for people that don't care that much about perfect alignment specs. They are based off maximum and minimum numbers on modified Tacomas.. so most alignment shops will see that they are "out of spec" but that's for a stock Tacoma. Poly has the caster/camber preset based off what works for modified/lifted Tacomas. They are truly meant for gaining max clearance and not having to mess with alignments. The only thing I have checked is toe.. and even then.. I have gotten it damn close on my own in the garage.

Long story short.. if you're chasing alignment numbers or are worried about it.. I'd say don't get them.. or.. maybe get the Bisons since they have more options but just won't hold up to wheeling. But again.. if you're wheeling hard enough to knock them out.. you shouldn't be caring about alignment numbers. So it's just use and personal expectations to determine what works best.

Both shops knew I wasn't looking for "in spec" alignment numbers. Anyhow I've still got the 333 kit so if the Bison wind up being a bust I can always switch back over and try again.

Back to the lower control arms; any group buys for this fall??
I'm about done with mods, minus these lowers...
For those who have these already installed, let's hear your reviews.... Thanks!!!

Haven’t seen too many people running them or at least not many reviews. Considering them but not sure about towing without the swaybar

Are you saying these will require eliminating the sway bar??

This makes no sense. The swaybar attaches to the spindle, not the LCA.

Dunno; but until the answer is revealed, I'll look at Archive, Rago, or the other company for shackle hangers..... 2 b continued...

This thread is for Lower Control Arms.. not hammer hangers.

As far as reviews of these LCAs goes.. I have posted up several times about them in here. Have been running them for a couple years now with zero issues. Great upgrade. Solid product and quality.

Also, you dont have to remove your sway bar for these.. LCAs have zero effect on sway bar mounting.

Any chance someone knows of a company that'll sell a UCA that's well matched to these LCAs? I'm looking for a UCA that'll be stronger and allow the extra droop of an extended travel coilover, but one without any caster correction because the LCA will handle that. Preferably something ball jointed like the BTF LCA

Spc is the only one that im aware of that can do the 0 or .25 or 1 degree of caster so that you can max clearence for bigger tires. And clear the coil better at full droop

10/4. You can still run your sway bar with these lca's. Just got confirmation from Derik Thoma over at DRTfab. Cool dude.
I'll order these arms at a later date and I'll repost from there.
    Thanks again TW...& DRT

I have my truck set up at 6.8° caster if I remember correctly.
