He doesn't have to do anything. It's his business and he has to price his products accordingly. He doesn't even have to offer the 10% off. Everyone asking for old prices is just ridiculous.

I guess you can think of it your way or..... be transparent about what's going to happen with pricing in the near future so that your customers (whom we know is always right;)) or potential customers can make the decision to purchase now at a lower price, bumping sales, or deciding the price increase at a later date are worth willing to pay for.

I build stainless papermill machines, threading systems, steam showers etc. The company I work for has full disclosure for price increases well prior to the customers.
Some mills jump on it to get an order in that they were on the fence thinking about and other mills wait till there funding increases and are willing to pay the higher costs later.

Either way they know in advance.

“The customer is always right in matters of taste.” …not pricing.

Been busy the last few days. If anyone on here misses the sale, call me (m-f 8-5) and I’ll extend old pricing for you for a while, maybe a month or so.
I can’t do old price plus discount, I’m sorry. We are small, and I’ve been on the small business struggle bus for over a decade now, trying to make everyone happy and screwing myself over for too long. I’d probably make more money consistently if I just went and got a job somewhere, lol. And if I offer one or two unhappy people old price plus discount then I’m gonna be the bad guy for not giving it to everyone else that happens across this thread.

how many customers are buying paper mill machines and stuff that you guys make? For me to keep up with every customer/potential customer would be nearly impossible. I don’t know who’s browsing my website at any given time, etc. I am the sole web guy/phone answerer/instagram/email responder/janitor/shipping clerk etc.

To be clear I'm not unhappy I just wish I knew waiting wouldn't get me a discount.

I still bought the product with the 10% off and am looking forward to running these.

I do apologize for that, like I said, I felt crappy about raising them this close to the sale, but we kinda had to, or not run a sale at all.

Probably going to be adding limit straps after I install the LCAs. Any issues with using the front of the eyebolt mount as the point of contact on this LCA, or should I plan on needing to weld a mount elsewhere?

You might want to use a spacer and go off the rear of the shock mount tab, I’m thinking the tierod may hit it if it’s off the front tab.

seems odd that he would make the lowers push the tire forward and the uppers pull it back, maybe its the wording that's throwing it off.

i will be running these with SPC uppers but I ordered black friday and havent gotten them yet so cant confirm fit and alignment #'s yet

I emailed them a while back about the uppers. They don't make a 0 degree caster upper arm. I suggested that they should make one to match with it back then, but no idea if there will be any plans.

I also ordered a set during Black Friday but have not received it yet. Likely takes a while bc they make them in batches after the orders are placed. I will also be using SPC as well. But god their bushings are the weakest link. Another good option is the Dobinson Billet arms bc you can set the caster to 2 degrees vs most fixed arms are closer to 3 degrees.

This is because 95% of people don’t buy UCA and LCA at the same time. So people buy just an UCA to correct caster after lifting their truck. Down the line they want to put bigger tires and the btf lca is one of the best components needed to help clear 35s. There is a bit of cancelling eachother out with any combo but the gain is still massive with the LCA. I sit at about 6.8-7° caster on my truck.

yea with Christmas in there as well lead times are probably a bit longer, i'm from canada and only go to my US property once a month so they will likely sit once i get them and then I need to bribe my friend to use his lift to do this and a few other things anyhow.

And those that do, are probably thinking forward enough to long travel that the extra expense of arms without travel is nonsensical.

When I buy these I'll just use the stock UCA, probably with poly bushings. The more I look the more I see the factory UCA doesn't actually limit much of anything of note in an OEM style setup.

You may limit droop but hard to say. I toyed with the idea of LT but stuck with stock width because of some slots on trails here in AZ. Not to say a stock width truck can’t hold its own either through mild desert stuff.

I thought so too until I looked into how much travel you get from marketed extended travel setups compared to stuff like 5100's. 5100's match or exceed extended travel shocks for droop and don't require UCA's, as measured by Tinkerer's Adventure. My money will be spent on poly bushings and BTF LCA's when I'm chasing further non-coilover front end suspension mods.

I’d have to check those out. I’m not familiar with the 5100 stuff enough to say much but if they match ext travel shocks and ext travel shocks need UCA I’m curious how that works. Witchcraft maybe
