I'll admit, I fell squarely into the showrunners' trap. When Jorah went down, when Theon went down, when John was about to be the main course at the Winterfell all you can eat BBQ buffet, I seriously considered the showrunners pulling the ultimate ace in the hole and killing off everyone in the north and leaving the final battle to be the NK vs Cersei. It would have been the Red Wedding x1000. Then Arya popped up and snapped me right out of that.

 

Wonder if they'll bring Yara back from the Iron Islands and Daario Naharis over from Meereen. And lets not forget that Elara Sand is still alive in the dungeons of the red keep.

 

Does Arya go back to King’s Landing as Littlefinger?

 

Amazing episode, but it was rife with plot armor. So many absolute non-survivable situations, and yet they come out standing... well expect for Sam, he came out balling on his back lol

 

Cleganebowl is still a go.

 

I thought for sure that when John was out there by himself and the night king raised all the dead around him, that Daenerys would swoop by on her dragon and breathe fire on everything destroying all the dead, but John (being a Targaryen) would be fine.

 

Was also expecting them to showcase he can’t be burnt as well. When Viserion was raging right outside of Jon, I half expected him to run and jump on him as well.

We need a full season.

 

But he has been burned. He burned his hand when he killed the wight at Castle Black. And who could forget Viserys getting cooked by the molten gold? It would seem that only Daenerys is immune to heat and fire.

What dagger did Arya give Sansa before Sansa went to the crypt?

Please don't tell me it was the same dagger Arya used to kill the NK....

 

just a dragon glass dagger, nothing special

 

Na, it was shaped different. I think it was maybe Dragon Glass.

 

I thought the same. No way anybody would have survived the dead.

Soooo I was expecting most of the season to be centered around the night king.. so I guess its on to fuck Cersei's world up now?

 

I had to remind myself that they werent zombies and that they cant turn someone with just a bite... without that, they COULD have survived.. highly unlikely but still possible. After all they are all experienced warriors
