    Well judging from the last episode the dragon mother isn’t very bright when it comes to war strategy. Head on charging that fleet with scorpions pointed at her wtf!? She could had come around from behind or from the top doubt they can point straight up from what it looked like. But tha. Again it’s a show anything is possible. Like bullseye kill of 2nd dragon out of the blue with first shot. Come on !

    the books were out of direct influence to show material back when jon got stabbed. even some story lines had bypassed their book counterparts before then.

    Its awesome but FFS.

    I don't think the battle in Episode 3 held a candle to the other two huge battles from the series and they made such a big deal about it being the longest battle ever recorded blah blah. Half of it was a nauseating dragon ride through the clouds.

    Also, I figured we would see an Ice dragon and a Fire dragon battle it out. The whole Ice and Fire story line just fizzled out to me.. Maybe they aren't done with it?

    oh it's definitely done, with the Night King gone the spell that reanimates the dead is gone with him. Like many others I was disappointed in how it ended so abruptly after so much hype about 'the dead' being the biggest threat to the realm and far more important to deal with than who sits on the throne. I cheered for Arya when she killed the NK but immediately afterward was like, 'wait...so it all came down to that?' Oh well, what can you do.

    And I agree it was definitely not the most epic battle we've seen, for me it's a tie between the Battle of the Bastards and the battle at Hardhome. Those two are my favorites.

    That I am definitely looking forward to, although with the Mountain being whatever the fuck he is now, I dunno if he'll be harder to fight or just plain harder to kill.
