    Yea they're really quick and nimble with them and they have the shield. I think a Knight would have a hard time getting close enough to them to disarm them and stab or cut them.

    Good armor should solve that problem. In a fight of a fully armored knight with a long sword/bastard sword/or a two handed sword vs. Unsullied with a spear, I think a fully armored armored knight wins more often than not.

    And before anyone says what about Oberyn vs the Mountain, Oberyn beat the mountain because his spear was poisoned and he got the Mountain in between his armor.

    Spears are notoriously OP in old times, a pokey knife on a 5-6ft stick gives you a lot of room to correct any mistake you make. All you got to do is back up. Also back and forth stab movement is less tiresome than slashes.
