    BotB was an epic episode but I don't understand all this "greatest episode of television of all time" stuff. The effects were amazing and all that, better than some movies even. But, I don't even think it was the best episode of GoT...IMO Hardhome, Hold the Door, and the Viper/Mountain trial by combat were better episodes that left my jaw on the floor. I don't read the books so I didn't see any of that stuff coming and it was epic. BotB was as predictable as any story I've seen...

    The behind the back shot of Jon in BotB was maybe the coolest shit I've ever seen on TV. The way the camera pivoted whenever Jon would change his footing and move in the battle was incredible. I would say I enjoyed the finale more just from a story telling perspective but the spectacle of the battle was amazing.

    I agree with that - that was one of the coolest things I've ever seen when those horses were running at him, but everybody and their mother knew the rest of his army was going to get there before they reached him. It was just too predictable to me to be considered "the best episode of of television of all time." If basing it only off of effects and spectacles then I can agree 100% but there have been better story telling episodes in GoT and other shows than that episode...

    I'm hoping he just guts her, takes the throne and says well me and my family totally fucked this up so I'm out and you all figure out what comes next. But I don't think it will happen because that would ruin the set-up for the war of Queens.

    The war of queens doesn't make any sense. The people that want the iron throne are Euron, Dany, Littlefinger, and Cersei. So the war of 2 kings and 2 queens. Jon clearly is happy with the north, that might change though.

    There's queen cersei, dany, greyjoy, and Illyria sand is sitting on the dornish throne. If Jon does the Honorable thing and hands the northern throne to sansa then you will have the war of 5 Queens immediately following the war of 5 kings. It wouldn't be the same because some of them would be allied but still a shitload of Queens in 1 kingdom going to war with each other.

    Even if Dany wins then Iron Throne I don't think there is any way that she would allow the other rulers of the kingdoms to call themselves kings or queens. She may allow it if they swear fealty to her overall but that would just be a title with no power behind it really.

    I predict that Season 7 will deal with the dragon's march north and the walker's march south, and possibly end with an all-out attack on an underdefended wall. Season 8 would be everyone finally getting their shit together and just barely defeating the king of winter. There's a 75% character death rate, and I'm thinking that only Daenerys is guaranteed to make it.

    Dany Jon Arya and bran are the ones commonly considered to be "George's children" that will make it through.

    Should have been more specific. I agree that Dany will make deals with the women ruling to get her to the throne but my problem is more with the verbiage of calling those people "Queen". I don't think Dany would go for that. There is only 1 queen in her mind I think.
