Yara doesn't want the throne, she would just be the Queen of the iron islands as much as Balon was king. In name only.

Illyria also only wants dorne. She will just be lady of dorne.

Jon can't give the right to Sansa anymore because he is the king in the north. He is also the rightful heir by blood to the throne. Although at this point I don't think he wants it. I see him possibly allowing Dany to rule and him as warden of the north. Or they could marry. They did allude to that when Dany mentions she needs to marry a king.

 

Except he just told the red queen to piss off and if he ever sees her again he will kill her, so I doubt the lord of light will be in his favor now. He better just hope she doesn't side with an enemy now that she is on her own...

 

She said she was going to gain allegiance by marriage. I was thinking Jon was pretty much the only male option but that's her nephew...but I guess that wouldn't be the worst incest on the show

 

...and I think Tyrion has a thing for her now. He was hinting at it before she named him hand. He's a Lannister, that could get her some allies assuming they all turn on Cersei...

 

I just took a leap and bought a digital code for Seasons 1-5 for less than $15.. he's sent the instructions already, I just need to get home and give it a try after work.

Was about to buy the physical copy of them for around $50 and saw this, figured i'd give it a try.

True, but like she says....she's only a conduit for the Lord of Light, he makes the call and she does the bidding. Didn't really seem like she was holding a grudge against Jon for banishing her to the south, more like she was just happy to not be getting executed. Could end up going either way though. I'm hoping Jon is still more or less invincible because watching him kick ass while avoiding sure death is fun to watch!

 

Especially since he doesn't believe it himself. His humility is what really makes him a compelling character.

 

Read up on Lightbringer and Azor Ahai. I think she will return, he will execute her, Longclaw will be set on fire and become lightbringer fulfilling one of the last parts of the prophecy.

I don't know anymore. I was convinced they would be fighting. I thought Dany was going to go full mad queen and Jon would defeat her. She has some serious crazy in her. With Tyrion around, I think she won't go nuts.

 

First, that would be friggin' EPIC! And yeah, she needs to go. His banishing her was further proof he'd make a great king.

Tyrion will probably live out the rest of his days in Kings Landing as the head of the Lannister house while serving as hand of the queen. I doubt he'll ever see Casterly Rock again, especially as Lord of the House.

 

I agree. I think she will keep him as hand and Jaime will redeem himself to become Warden of the West and Lord of Casterly Rock. I can see Lyanna Mormont as Wardeness of the North and Lady of Bear Island. That is if Jon becomes king with Dany.

That's the same thing...She wants to be ruler of the 7 kingdoms. If she becomes queen and he king then Jon would be the ruler and she just his queen.

I think it's all a moot point though because once the Night King and that army come to play the game will change and everything they are currently after is going to be an after-thought to just surviving that war...

 

The cool thing about Jon Snow is that he doesn't really seem to WANT to be king. He looked uncomfortable when the north was sweating their allegiance, and I think he only accepted it because he needs them all to follow him back to the wall.

If he was to make a permanent hook-up with Dany, he'd be more than happy to let her rule and serve in a general of the army kind of role.

 

So you think they are going to rally troops and head back to the wall? I was thinking the undead army would breach the wall and the fight would happen somewhere further south...

I figure as soon as Bran comes through the curse will break and they will be free and come too. I'm not sure how far they are from it but I think they are fairly close since Benjen had to leave them...

 

For the lightbringer stuff to be fully realized I would think Jon and would have to marry Mel or whoever it was first. Nissa Nissa was Azor Ahai's wife when he plunged lightbringer into her heart to temper it. Thus making the sacrifice greater to both since she seemed somewhat willing to be killed
