gap between cab and bed

I've been searching in the soundproofing threads and can't find a conversation. One discussed a rubber strip in the gap behind the cab. A friend's RAM has this. Anyone tried this?

 

Just remove the back seat and storage

 

If you want quiet, buy a Lexus LOL
Unless it's over 90 or under 50 degrees, my windows are always down. Old school, and it's a truck, albeit a little truck.

 

Cars are for quiet.

I did this as well, and it definitely made a difference.

The back seat also helps to reduce sound; road noise is noticeably louder with it removed.
