Also wanted to post some pics of my garage floor that I had done earlier this year. Best thing I have done to my house, let me know if any questions...

I fuckin love epoxy garage floors. :headbang:

I did my own and it turned out pretty good. I abused the hell out of it and it always cleaned up nice. If you do the flake you have to do a clear over it or those flakes will be constantly coming up. The pro's might not have that problem though. Looks awesome.

Dig the GS(or IS?), too. Looks very similar to my garage at one time.

You're exactly right, clear coat with an abrasive in it (like clear sand) so it's not slippery when wet. Thanks!

Ahh, that makes sense. I didn't do the clear and just tossed the flakes on it not knowing any better. Seriously though, it makes the garage look so much nicer.

It also took 4 days of labor and a week of not parking on it (not to mention I took every single thing out of my garage, and painted it over the winter)...with grinding, 150, epoxy, flake, drying time, rain, wind. It was a cluster.

Absolutely. Lots of prep, lots of labor but definitely worth it. Makes my vehicles look like they are in a showroom and turned out to be one of the nicest floors of my house..

Exactly. I can walk on the garage floor with bare feet and it's as clean as my kitchen floor (I know winter is coming though). But no more garage cement dust, dirt, crap, etc...

You're going to cry the first time it rains/snows and you pull into the garage. I know I did lol. :annoyed:

The rain I can handle so far, I squeegee and spray it out. The rock salt and anti skid stuff is going to be a bitch, you're right!

I have no experience with rock salt, but I've had every kind of fuel, oil and chemical spilled on my floor and it wiped right up. It's pretty damn durable.

I keep a spray bottle of ammonia around. Anytime I spill anything, just spray the ammonia and brush it around with a brush, everything comes up so far. I've used it to clean up oil. Have not spilled any gasoline or paint on it yet. Not looking forward to the Pittsburgh winters. Thinking the rock salt will chew up this up, we'll see!

It looks great! Subbed for winter test. I'm thinking of doing this as well.

Beautiful but what do you do about jacking up your truck? I'm sure I can find something to place under jack stands. Surely those metal jack wheels will mark up the floor.
