I have the temp gauge/compass on mine and no holder for the garage door opener. Just a flip down holder for glasses.

I could be wrong, but I think you either get the temp gauge/compass OR the garage door opener holder.

The temp gauge/compass will never open your garage door. In place of that they do a spot to stuff the opener with a cover that has buttons to line up with the ones on the opener.

altifron,is it possible that you're confusing the button that changes the celsius, farenheight and compass button as a garage opener?....I think the other guys are right,it's either info center or opener. My Canadian spec'd '07 came with info,no opener.

The tacoma's don't have homelink (garage door progamming).

I installed a rear-view mirror with homelink buttons in it.

No prob......I was a little surprised they didn't come with a homelink feature myself.
