I think it's time for a regular cab!

Seriously that is a tight fit. I'd go with a permanently attached tire block so you hit the exact right spot every time. Whoever mentioned padding the wall might have had the right idea.

No prob. Get a piece of 1/4” plywood 2’x4’ and attach it where the bumper will touch the wall. Then attach double thick carpet over the plywood. Hang the ball that touches the windshield so that you stop about 6” from the wall. Then very slowly barely moving go forward until you touch the wall. You’re good. The plywood will disperse the pressure against the wall and protect it from damage. The carpet will protect your front bumper. I did this many years for a similar problem, worked great, never a problem.
If you have a choice always park in a garage. It protects your trucks finish, protects it from theft, vandalism and now a days protects it from catalytic converter theft.

You can easily build a rectangular platform out of 2x4 and placed it against the wall that will stop the vehicle at the proper distance. This will be better than just placing a 2x4 on the floor since it won't move and 4 inches tall so much more difficult to accidently driving over it. Can easily be picked up and store if needed. A tennis ball would be too difficult to use for this scenario since there's no room for driving error.
My garage has a built in elevated concrete slab in the back that I simply back in and it stops the truck perfectly 2" from the wall. The platform serves the same function.

I have a tennis ball for my wifes car but the concrete slab works perfect for me. You can build a 2x4 platform that will serve the same purpose.20220322_223615.jpg

Looking at your pictures definitely reminds me of my son's situation.

At one of our fire stations that did not have drive thru bays so we affixed a couple of truck wheel chocks to the concrete. The idea was to give the "backup" person a spot where truck needed to stop. The wheel chocks were also placed to eliminate any human error (backup person being distracted) while giving the driver an actual phyiscal stop instead of the back wall of the bay.

Damn that’s a tiny garage! Unfortunately I see this as a trend that is unlikely to get any better. In Vegas, most new houses seem to only have a tiny 1 car garage, little to no driveway and limited to no street parking, even though the houses have 3 or more bedrooms. It’s almost like nobody wants vehicles in their neighborhoods…

I just saw some bump stops was wondering what you'd use them for but this seems like the perfect situation.

theres a simple soultion that i think most are overlooking and its this: just buy about 3 of those rubber chickens and tape them to the walls at the wings.

when they start squealing then you know your safely parked

I picked up a 4ft piece of scrap wood and laid it on the floor as a stopper. Slow and steady into the garage and haven’t had any issues. Although I have a bit more space than you I trust that piece of wood more than a tennis ball. My parents have tried both throughout their time as vehicle owners. The wood has stayed true and the tennis balls were phased out pretty quickly.

Sat my fat rear end in it.
Just pull in faster. Soon enough you'll have a bigger garage.

Aftermarket bumpers, front and rear, which do not project out as far as the stock bumpers :notsure: Good excuse to get some mods going

What does the exterior look like? I’ve seen where people have built a bump out to gain some extra length to their garages..

Otherwise, it’s a non issue if you can get the truck in and close the door no matter how tight.

Congratulations too for not filling it up with a bunch of stuff :D

My first pull into the garage after getting my 'hidden winch bumper' installed I put a neat little punch right through the drywall.....just had painted that garage. :)
