I'll bite. Here is my garden. It is a subtropical/tropical garden with a collection of palms. Not so much food going on right now. Only edibles I have are Avocados, Ice cream bananas, Papaya, and Taro (kind of). These are pictures of it at it's peak in September.20180924_182251.jpg 20181013_121357.jpg 20181014_155641.jpg

It's gonna be a while before I get my tiller out this year. I've heard reports that the frost got to over 40 inches.

Where are you located? Looks very warm...

Similar problem here; I set the posts for my deck over 3 feet down when I built it, and they still heaved this winter. That's the problem with super cold weather and zero snow cover.

My deck footings are down 42" per code. Our frost was down to 21" this year. 21" is fairly deep for us but we has some snow cover other wise it would have gone much deeper.

Still waiting on mine to come up.

I took the carb apart and cleaned it out with carb cleaner. Seems like it just needed to run. It ran shitty at first but didn't die, and got better once it ran for awhile.

Nothing too exciting... maybe a little rust
The weather around here isn't sure what it wants to do, last week I woke up to an inch of snow, yesterday it hit 80 at my house and supposed to be even hotter today. Then forecast has it back to 50s and rain dipping into the 30s at night again by the end of the week.

I hope it doesn't keep this bipolar crap up all year, the winter was relatively warm and mild until the beginning of February when the temps dropped and it snowed 2 feet in 3 days and kept snowing off and on for 2 weeks after the tulips had already sprouted.

I have always tilled my soil since I have been gardening like my father did until I watched Charles Dowding and will be applying his methods of gardening from here on out. This video explains his reasoning behind why he doesn't disturb the soil and at 2:15 in this video Charles show one garden that is tilled vs one that has been left undisturbed::

He does a great job of selling it, but a crappy job of explaining how you do it. The biggest question I have is how do you get rid of all the weeds that are already there when you go to plant for the first time in the spring? Also, he said he puts two inches of compost on top once a year. When does he do that? Does he plant right after? If so is he planting seeds in the compost layer, or just below it? If below, that’s pretty deep for most things.

    Awesome, thanks.
Has anyone here done this? I like the idea, but lots of things sound good on paper. In real life they don’t always work out like you hoped. I’ve had pretty good success tilling, so l’m not really chomping at the bit to change anything.

Bed led, under hood led, secondary auxiliary panel,
I did Paul Gautschi’s “Back to Eden” gardening method if you got wood chips it is great. I am in the process of Adding more beds. But it has weeds but pull out easy.
