Follow them home and demand a cut? :notsure:

Pretty simple; Crush 'em up and till 'em in. Tomatoes especially love calcium, but all plants use it. That'll save you the trouble of washing them all to avoid the 'rotten egg' smell and the resulting flies, too.
One trick I use when I transplant my tomatoes from the starter greenhouse indoors out into the garden is to put a handful of eggshells at the bottom of the hole; then they've got plenty of Calcium to draw on as the shells break down over the summer.

Egg shells are great if you have a good source. I use a scoop of powdered milk, works good to.

A little something every chance we get.
We're going to make some Hummer Fuel, and get it out, whether I have seen them or not. And out front, I make the wife look as some baby something before I put it in a coffee can of doom, because I didn't think it was a pest. We then thought it was a squirrel, and took it across the street to a tree, because nest nearby. Finally, wife had a friend come and get it, and she thinks it's a racoon! Anyway, some one saved it.
Wife did a lot of garden work while I finished out the Hibiscus transplants, and we put our mulch down on some parts (I wish she would let me do it after freeze clean up).
Couple a shots of garden not edible!

We're gonna look for the Easter Hummingbirds. Scouts are normally here around 4/1, but they are smarter than we are. Like why we have Easter Lillies that totally wait for the date, regardless of weather!

MeLikey I like your garden set-up! Very nice! I put a Dogwood in the ground yesterday and I hope it does as well as yours.

Thanks for all the likes everyone. Normally, this is a one week project, but weather and age are conspiring. And plants seem to know when Easter comes, whether I agree or not!

This thread has given me the motivation I need to get the garden started!
Friday I purchased a Cub Cadet tiller. I unloaded it and pushed it into the back yard. The next morning there is a nice size oil spot on the ground. Is this common for this brand, I wonder...? Gonna return it next weekend (I didn't even run it). At any rate, I borrowed a buddies tiller and got busy. I'll be honest, it kicked my butt. But I did make progress!

Thanks and good luck with the Dogwood. Mine have been really hardy so far and OK weather can put the hurt on plants and trees.
