He's right. Texas sends all the bad weather that Dallas can't handle to OK! It's tough, but very beautiful where he is!

You're right. That machine should be tight and leak-free.

Winters are moderate but we occasionally get ice that does a lot of damage to landscaping. Summers are pretty brutal. Cool season crops like lettuce, spinach, and cruciferous veggies have a really short window.

heard one humming bird today...Ive been busy so I cant tell which one it is. Usually the Roufus (Sp?) come in first. Put up a couple feeders for them as usual ;)

Spring is a poppin. Lots of color and bees and birds everywhere. Someone put over 100 honey bee boxes about 1/8 of a mile away.

Or oyster shell. You can get 50lbs for cheap at most feed stores.

Optional. I wash and dry mine out because I save them up over the winter for spring planting, but they're just going to be wet again as soon as you put them in the garden :notsure:

You said that you had to wait for the Mongos and Avocados to pop.

Was working in the yard this weekend and the honey bees were buzzing around foraging. Not much out there yet, but they were hitting the Hyacinth and Daffodils pretty heavily, and I saw a bunch of girls coming back to the hive with day-glo yellow legs from the Pussy Willows. It's neat watching them work; I've always been fascinated by bees, and having so many of them around has hurt my productivity because I'll stop and just watch them for 5-10 minutes at a time

Looks like either a Norway Maple or a Black Maple, from the shape. Not Sugar, Red or Silver, from the shape.

Called Denny’s about egg shells and was told to call Saturday morning because they will have more then.
The guy happen to be at Gardner himself and he said that I could put carrots nearby and my tomatoes if I ever had issues with them in the past for some reason the bugs won’t go in that area.
I am going to put eggshells and diced up banana peels around the base of my tomato plants when I plant that usually works pretty well for me
My only insect issue is cucumber beetles and squash wine borers

A picture of the buds would help.

It’s an excellent field guide, but I think my old one I loaned up and didn’t get back was better

I was thinking if @LiquidDragon could get a picture of the buds on the tree, that would help.
