I got this. My tomatoes in the grow bags are having calcium issues . The others in boxes are outstanding. Fed them with tomato tone this AM and I am gonna mix up a batch and foliage feed them tonight. Pulled off four shitty toms today and I’ve had it

Not trying to hijack the vinegar discussion...but never knew this thread existed, pretty awesome! My company builds greenhouses, both residential and commercial, and I do some gardening myself. I have endless pictures...Being tacomaworld I figure this one is most suitable....

Either my dad or myself built these, I have thousands of pictures, these were just picked at random...

My tomatoes have been horrible this year...from savage birds to fungus, I think I am going to give up on them or try another type.

Just getting into gardening this year! 6 tomatoes, 6 squash, 6 okra, 14 pole beans, 6 bush beans, all in hay bales, and turnips in the ground. Okra didnt produce (stalks grew huge but the okra would die right as they started). I planted the tomatoes too close together (they're doing good though), beans are doing awesome! Squash plants got massive and put off a ton, but they crapped out bc i let them get too big before picking. There's really nothing quite like it, its fun! Not to mention the food is so much better than buying at a store (most of the time). Gonna keep this little garden going through the winter w/ onions, beets, carrots, lettuce, spinach, and peas. Tilling for purple hull peas next spring, cant wait!

My dad built these before I was born for a lady who received a settlement from a wreck and created this commune for anyone to come and enjoy. He told me it was always ran down and some "dark stuff" was happening out there, whatever that means. Randomly we got a call last year, the lady had passed away and another lady purchased the property. She wanted us to come repair her greenhouses not knowing we built them. They had 4' of water in them during Harvey but other than that they looked great still once cleaned up. Check out the main greenhouse with the pool off of the main house....there' s about 5 greenhouses on the property of different sizes/uses...from pool house, orchids, zen garden, to butterfly house....pretty cool...shes a Christian lady so she is going to make it a church retreat.

I like your shade sails. We priced retractable awnings. $35 total vs $3000, I’ll take the $35 option!

I thought I would improve the side of the yard that doesn't quite live up to the rest. First I removed the 24 large castle blocks so I can reuse them twords the front yard part of that hill.

Then I started placing the smaller 60 that I bought to replace them. I need to double that amount to finish it up but it's already looking better.

I'm going to be hurting tomorrow.

1/2 bushel of cukes and a whole damn lot of green beans worked out to 8 quarts of frozen beans, 11 pints of dilly beans, 19 quarts of dill pickle spears, 8 pints of bread & butter chips, and 5 small jars of leftover pickled garlic.
